Government Corruption In Illinois

Published by ragged316 at 5:24 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich was arrested for trying to benefit personally by appointing former-Senator Obama’s replacement. Wiretaps were used to gain the evidence against him. It is indeed sad when the people that are supposed to be high up there in terms of power think they are also above the law. New York had a similar case not that long ago. Is the economy to blame? Is the stress getting to some people? In the case of Blagojevich, it is probably pure greed. People like that have and still want a ton more. In this troubled time, why not give more than take? There are a lot of people who really need. It does not look like Blagojevich will keep his job. You would think national leaders would actually have unity on their mind in this troubled time. Hopefully, his replacement will have his, or her, priorities straight.

Absolutely pure greed. He ahs not lived in the governor’s mansion in Springfield, costing the state hundreds of thousands of dollars to transport him to his house in Chicago, but he whines that he’s not doing well. Creep!
